it's worse than I thought

Apparently there is a greater void in the lives of people than I thought.

People have turned to The Bible for inspiration, comfort, guidance, and support (of short-legged coffee tables) for generations. To make it accessble, The Bible has been translated to just about every language known in the last two hundreds years, and converted to forty-'leven 'contemporary' editions.

There is now a movement to translate the Holy And Invariant Word to LOLCAT-speak

Teh Holiez Bibul

This is hardly a surprise to me after the Klingon translation. At least LOLCAT-speak is funny and cute to some people. A Klingon Bible is just a way that insecure ubernerds overcompensate for their otherwise ambiguous ubernerdiness.

No, no, no. The Bible wasn't translated into Klingon, it was translated FROM Klingon! ;)

That would explain some of the more violent parts. (Yes, I say it even as a believer.)
