Why can't people see this?

Sir Terry Pratchett, on how he'd prefer to go.

As entropy mounts up cell by cell, and my attention span shortens, and typing gets more difficult, I feel more and more that I want to be able to say goodbye while I can still remember who I am and who all these people are. No, I have not been diagnosed with anything more severe than being over fifty, but I don't want to be forced to go out as a human eggplant, with everyone wishing I'd just get it over with, dammnit.

Thanks
Thank you so much for this article. I've had a question for a long time - If it's okay to euthinize a pet, why not ourselves?

Answer - It's so that noone gets sued. Thankfully, that's when the will comes in - hopefully.

I can see it.

I've also seen the other side - the Robert Latimers of this world

I know the most dangerous place for a person with a disability to be is in a hospital...

I guess I'm just glad its not an issue the law or society deals with easily - I'm not sure I want to live in a place where it does.
