I guess it shows

Today, during my workout, one of the cops who works out at the gym came up to Ravi, my trainer, and me.  He said he just wanted to say that they (undefined pronoun) had seen how hard I've been working, and that I've made a lot of progress.  Ravi and I, of course, spent the next few moments giving each other the credit. 

I should have told him I'd pay him the twenty bucks later.

All my joints hurt tonight (180 pounds on the leg press, things like that), but that was a really nice gesture, and it felt good.

I'll be grumpy again tomorrow, I promise.
