The first thing he'll see when he arrives at the Pearly Gates is the Celestial Clue By Four of Antioch coming at his face.

For some reason, I don't think I'd ever be able to find a picture of Gandhi enjoying a nice 16-oz porterhouse. Powerful teachers tend to practice what they preach, unlike their followers.

'Lave us be fair', said Mr. Dooley. 'Let us take some of the blame for ourselves.' "

Why do I get the feeling that some of these "Christians" haven't picked up a Bible in years, haven't a clue of what Jesus was actually saying: Love your neighbor, and Turn the other cheek being the two of the most important.
Also being tolerant of others was important as was love the sinner, hate the sin.

At times I'm afraid what will happen when He does return. Throwing the money changers out of the temple will be nothing. "We" have used His name for all sorts of horrible things, believing that is what He wants us to do. I'm sure he is not happy with us.

The more there are people that are like the man in the photo makes me want to quit the human race.

I'm not saying humans are bad, but their level of inanity and willful ignorance can sometimes be mind bogglingly unsettling.

I think what Mr. Kornada is saying, from this strip from Freefall, is what some people think:

If you aren't saying what they want to hear then they don't believe it, as evidence by the first two panels of this strip:
