You're not supposed to win these.

Just about everyone's had it at one time or another, for some of us it's recurring.

The dream: you're at college, you're late for an exam in a class you didn't know you were taking, your dorm room is a disaster, etc...

I have that dream occasionally.

Last night, I won.

It turned out that I knew the material well enough, I ended up TAing the class.

The dorm room was a threesome, and the missing roommate was finally ruled 'not coming back', and we got  to scavenge all kinds of cool gear, including some classic Lego models.

And the last thing was working a stapler in an office: the stapler was the size of an industrial sewing machine, and used staples the size of croquet hoops.  But it worked.

And I had clothes on.

I don't know what it means, that I made it OK through the dream that is supposed to show how disrupted your life is.  Don't care, either.

Now, if I can make that mojo work in one of the monster or chase scene dreams, I'm set.

Dear Mogg, that's twisted. It means you're barking. Come back again next week when you've had your Prozac.

I won't tell you about my dreams, or they'll come and take me away. Haha.

Isn't that rather uncanny, though? A dream can seem so real, and then fade out so rapidly. I've on occasion had such a good dream that I've tried to go back to sleep to recapture it. Once or twice it has worked...

Dreams are the stuff of miracles and madness...

You know what that means? It means you're confident enough in yourself that you can achive great things. You've conquered some fear that is holding you back.

Go get'em, Sleepy!

Good positive energy, TK! Maybe it'll cancel out my sass...

I've been negative long enough this weekend. It's time I worked for good. God blessed me this morning, and now I'm sharing. :)

If only I could remember my dreams. Maybe it's because I take so many meds. I don't know.

For some reason I've been thinking about Legos lately, how they used to be when I was growing up. Interesting.....

The thing is, I so rarely have *any* dreams where I end up winning; they usually end up like Rimmer in 'Better Than Life', something ALWAYS happens to screw up a good situation, if there's a good situation in the first place.

That's why this one is so remarkable.

Staple the monsters!

Why do I suddenly see Sleepy John as his CTC form, dressed up like Rambo, rampaging through the office and stapling oompa loompas to chase them away from Calbeck?

Not sure why, but that made me laugh!

Why do I suddenly see Sleepy John as his CTC form, dressed up like Rambo... at a rough guess, because your meds need adjusting? :)

And why would I want to keep them away from Calbeck? I can't imagine WW opening a line of cigar-flavored candies.

Because Calbeck was their last target, and because it would be funny?

And I'm not on meds, but I definately need adjusting.

It scares me a little when I hear Baby Boomers report that they still get school-related nightmares.

I did have a chase scene dream in which I apparently shook off the chaser. Just making it out of the building was considered victory. That was at a time that I didn't mind dreams in which everyone was out to get me, because I always came out on top in a fight, even if they attacked en masse. (No truth to this in RL.)

I tend to have lucid dreams and often have story dreams where I solve a major problem or defeat a villain just before I have to wake up.
