Bogar is back home. The sitters said he did much better this time, with them and with the other dogs in the mix. He needs training, and then he needs socializing, so he can learn how to play with other dogs! He's already pooped out for the night.
Got a lot of work done on a personal project, a web page of Boy Scout neckerchief slides that my dad and I've whittled. I brought in eight good-sized pumpkins from Kate's garden, so I had an inspiration, and carved a pumpkin:
which I think is pretty good for a spur-of-the-moment thing.
I had a major craving for BBQ. I used to get my fix at Back Forty BBQ, but they added a lot of heat to their sauces. I used to get a fix at Tony Roma's, but they closed (wah!). So I tried Chili's Baby Back Ribs. Mediocre. Really. The meat was tepid, and the sauce looked like it was doled out by the drop. The price was OK, but it was rather disappointing overall. *sigh*
And my Wonder Wife got a surprise one-hour massage for her birthday; thank you, sister-in-law Lizzie, for arranging it!
So, all in all, a pretty good weekend. I refuse to think about going to work in the morning. I'm going to bask for a while.

Yay for tuckered bogey.
Poo on the bad ribs. Maybe giving mavericks a shot wouldn't hurt. Or hunting down Emil Villa's again. :: demands a Rudy's in the east bay ::
Huggles!!
