Writer's Block: Honesty is such a lonely word

Do you think honesty is really the best policy when it comes to relationships? Is total honesty possible, let alone desirable?

Honesty is the only policy if you want the relationship to last. Anything built with flawed materials in the foundation will come crashing down when you try to put weight on it. That said, there should always be room for diplomacy and regard for the feelings of others. Too often, 'truth' is used as an excuse for 'ego'.
